Tuesday 7 May

Losing an hour yesterday resulted in our waking a little later than usual.  We also had internet issues so by the time we got to breakfast G realised he needed to be at Bridge. E had a lonely breakfast and then settled in the Carinthia lounge with Jeffrey Archer and waited for the quiz. After over a week of trying we were finally victorious and we're given two stickers which later in the week we could exchange for a prize - maybe a world cruise (or not!) 🤣.

As Graeme had missed out on breakfast we had lunch in the main dining room where we chatted with a lovely French-speaking lady (with beautiful English) from Montreal called Véronique.

We had a drink in the Chart Room bar, followed by an average performance in the quiz.

This voyage had to be booked as two separate cruises. This meant we got double on board credit and a second invitation to the loyalty party. Drinks were not flowing as freely as last week (we thought because this voyage was no longer technically part of this year's world cruise) but we managed to get two drinks each.  The person with the most nights on board was again the lady from Whitby who has spent the equivalent of almost eight years on board Cunard ships.

It was a late dinner and then bed.
